Andrés Morales, president of Municipal Assembly of Power's People, pointed out in a press conference that this year is special because UNESCO's representatives will be present at the proposal of declaring Camagüey's downtown as World Heritage.

This anniversary has been dedicated to plastic artists Flora Fong and Gabriel Gutiérrez, actress Isabel Santos, athlete Yipsy Moreno, meteorologist Roger Rivero, and amateur folkloric group Bonito Patuá.

Moviemaker Humberto Solás, photographer Rafael Solís, writers Enrique Cirules and Roberto Méndez and Cándido Fabré's salsa group will be among the guests of this party.
