The Play Ceniciento, Free Version Based on the Classic Short Story for Children in Las Tunas, Cuba.
The play Ceniciento, free version based on the classic short story for children, will be in scene once again this weekend in the 28 de septiembre cinema of Las Tunas city, habitual venue of the theatrical group Teatro Tuyo, from this eastern region of Cuba.

This play made its debute two years ago, as a version by Ernesto Parra, director of the group and is located among the most popular of Teatro Tuyo, because it is an updated proposal from the medieval period, but takes place in a rare Cuban 21st century, with its moral and economic crises that locate the spectator in his own space.

According to Parra his group has several proposals this year, such as two premieres "A Hunter for the Wolf", version based on the Little Red Riding Hood , and "The Crazy Hen". Both plays will demand from the group a new communication way with the public, since they will use marionettes, but in a musical theater.

Teatro Tuyo was founded on January 15, 1999 and is integrated by Yury Rojas, Yanisleidy Gómez, Mandy Mora, Alejandro Batista, Yaíma Guerrero and its director Ernesto Parra.

This theatrical group has a thick curriculum that includes several prizes in national festivals, and the most important of all the laurels, is that of the best setting in scene in the most recent Festival Teatro de Camagüey, with the play "Park of Dreams" that granted a prize to Yury Rojas, as man's performance and mention to Katia López in woman's performance.

Teatro Tuyo offers its performances Thursday and Friday at three in the afternoon and every weekend in night functions, in the 28 de Septiembre Cinema of Las Tunas city, to 670 kilometers from Havana.
