The Biggest Sugar Producer of Cuba Is About to Begin Harvest
The Antonio Guiteras sugar mill, of this eastern province of Las Tunas, is in its final stage to begin the the current sugar harvest.

During the first days the Guiteras, the biggest sugar producer in Cuba, will mill with only one tandem, and its mill to full capacity will begin after the new Brazilian sugar harvesters enter to cut. They should process 50 percent of the cane planned by that industry, located to the north of this province, and to about 730 kilometers to the east of Havana.

The Colombia sugar mill, to the south of Las Tunas, was the first one in beginning to the current sugar campaign, and the others that will follow the Antonio Guiteras, are the Majibacoa, in the center, and the Amancio Rodríguez, also in the south.
