The visitors are attending the 26th Session of the Economic, Scientific and Technical Consultation Commission, started this week in Havana.

Cuban Government Minister Ricardo Cabrisas and Korean Trade Minister Rim Kyong Man expressed Monday their respective countries' interest in boosting bilateral links.

The 26th Session until Friday is discussing cooperation in trade, oil, health, biotechnology, agriculture, sugar industry, education, culture and sports, among others.

The Korean delegation's agenda also includes holding talks with officials from the Ministries of Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Economic Collaboration, Foreign Affairs, Agriculture, Sugar, Basic Industry and Public Health, and visiting the Latin American School of Medicine, a Sugarcane Cooperative Production Unit, and a training center for oil workers.

The session will conclude with the signing of a protocol agreement on trade, economic and cooperation relations between the two nations in the next years.
