The Cuban film El Benny will represent the Caribbean Island at the Fourth Ibero-American Film Festival, scheduled to begin in this capital on November 25 to exhibit films from ten countries.

The feature-length film about Cuba's most popular musician, Bartolome Maximiliano More (1919-1963), will be exhibited for the first time in Southeast Asia, after winning several awards in Latin America, the United States and Europe.

The film's international release took place at the Locarno Film Festival, in Switzerland.

El Benny, the first film by moviemaker Jorge Luis Sanchez, stars in Cuban actor Renny Arozarena as Benny More, and Enrique Molina, Mario Guerra, Isabel Santos and Salvador Wood.

The Ibero-American exhibition will be inaugurated on Friday, when the Ecuadorean film "Un Titan en el Ring" (A Titan in the Ring) will be shown at the Soka Gakkai Center.

Organizers confirmed the participation of ten films from Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
