One of the most important figures of the Spanish dance, Cristina Hoyos, will dance at the Gran Teatro de La Habana on the 10th, 11th, 15th and 16th of December.

This woman returns with her singular magic and charisma to the Garcia Lorca hall, the stage of her dances with the disappeared Antonio Gades, to deliver her passion and her art over the tables.

She will also, during her stay in Cuba, give her experience of her artistic mastership, in dance, music and flamingo workshops, sponsored by the Cuban National Ballet.

Next 4th of December will arrive to Havana, the Spanish dancer who, in dialogue with the young people will again find in the Cubans, those sensual and rhythmic students of her, capable of learning the dance, singing and guitar lessons of Cristina Hoyos.

The Flamingo workshops are taking place since 2004, in the Cuban capital, sponsored by the Junta de Andalucía and organized by specialists of the Cuban National Ballet.

Therefore the reunion of the dancer with Cuba will take place in December, where beat the love for the flamingo culture and people remembers the mastership of the Spanish dancer, both on the Havana stage, as through her numerous interpretations under the direction of the filmmaker Carlos Saura, when she shared staring roles with Antonio Gades and Laura del Sol, as well as that impressive performance of her in the Barcelona Olimpic Games.

Cuba , with such a life presence from Andalucia in the migratory waves, has the required warmth and eroticism to get the language of the flamingo singing and dance, as it asses in the different Cuban companies, both professionals and amateurs, in which it is evident the vocation for the Hispanic culture.
