Kenya Women's volleyball lose to Cuba
The national women's volleyball team on Friday went down 3-0 to Cuba in their opening group B match in the on going world cup in Hamamtsu Japan.
The African champions who lost the match in sets of 25-11,25-18 and 25-20 will face world silver medallist Brazil in their second group B match at Hamamtsu Japan before facing Peru in their third match on Sunday.
In another match Serbia defeated Korea 3-0 in sets of 25-21,25-23 and 25-15.
The FIVB Volleyball World Cup 2007 is the first step in the Olympic Qualification process towards Beijing 2008.
The best three Men's and best three Women's teams will join the Chinese teams, already qualified for the 2008 Olympics as host country.
Twelve Women's teams are competing in the games, which are scheduled to end on the 16 of this Month in Nagoya.
The Men's tournament will be held from 18th of this month to the 2nd of next month, with the last games in Tokyo.
