Habaguanex S.A gains space in tourism activity localized in the Cuban capitals historic heart, backed by the expansion of its hotel and extra hotel infrastructure.

In this expansion direction highlights go to the opening of Europa Restaurant, so right now the company has 34 facilities of that kind in that select urban area, specifically on Obispo Street.

The new facility is housed in a 1920 building and specializes in Cuban cuisine proposals, with over 20 dishes created by its own chefs.

This step allows expanding the remodeling and rehabilitation works in sites of great patrimonial value located in areas of the oldest boundary of Old Havana, declared World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.

Currently, Habaguanex S.A. runs 17 hotels, most of them 4-star category, which registered a 75% occupancy rate in 2006. It also owns 60 restaurants and cafeterias and several dozens of stores.
