Established Azerbaijan-Cuba Intergovernmental Partnership Commission

The Azerbaijan-Cuba Intergovernmental Partnership Commission has been set up in accordance with the presidential decree issued October 18.
The Presidential Administrations press service informed that Heydar Babayev, the minister of economic development, was appointed the co-chair of the Commissions national membership.
Among the bilateral Commissions members on behalf of Azerbaijan are deputy ministers for foreign affairs Khalaf Kalafov, for finance Azer Bayramov, for industry & energy Gulmammad Javadov, culture & tourism Teymur Mehdiyev, for education Elmar Gasimov, for health Sanan Kerimov, for youth & sports Intigam Babayev and countrys permanent representative in the United Nations Azerbaijan Ilham Agayev.
The Ministry of Economic Development reported that the Commission is to hold its 1st session on November 1, 2007.
