Honduran President Manuel Zelaya announced Thursday that a large delegation will accompany him during his visit to Cuba October 9 and 10.
"I think this is the biggest Honduran delegation that has ever visited any country because it is a historic date and moment," the dignitary emphasized.
It is the first time a Honduran president has officially visited the island.
The principal activity of the president will be the signing of the Maritime Demarcation Treaty between the two nations on October 9.
Accompanying him will be businessmen, officials, deputies and journalists, while Education Minister Marlon Breve comes to access the Cuban literacy process, which has been successfully implemented in several nations to reduce illiteracy.
