Cuba to host International Congress on Allergy Immunotherapy

Physicians from eight countries have thus far confirmed their presence in an International Congress on Allergy Immunotherapy that will take place next month in Santa Lucia, in the eastern province of Camagüey.
Specialists from Mexico, Ecuador, Uruguay, El Salvador, Germany, Spain, Hungary and Cuba will participate in the event, scheduled for October 3-5 at the Gran Club Santa Lucia hotel, some 100 kilometers north of the city of Camagüey.
Some of the topics that participants will analyze include mechanisms of adverse action and reaction in immunotherapy and the use of this procedure in affections like asthma and allergic rhinitis.
The agenda also includes topics such as new generation vaccines against allergies.
More than 150 delegates are expected to attend the event.
