Gamboas manager Ahmet Öner said: "Paniagua is No. 31 in the WBC bantamweight rankings and Gamboa made him look like a school boy. And it was only his fifth pro-fight! His next fight will be against a guy of the Top 10. I think a World championship bout in his 10th fight is possible. You cant go to the top faster that that!"

Talking of Solis, Öner said: "Solis did it again. Once more he proved that he is one in a million. Whenever he gets in the ring the only question is: When will he hit his opponent? When does his opponent go down? His fights remind me of the young Mike Tyson. It doesnt matter who he gets in the ring with. He will beat everybody who comes along. With Solis a new era in heavyweight is beginning."
