At the rally on the 54th anniversary of the assault of Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes barracks, Raul Castro reminded that the "08 general elections will mark the end of George W. Bush term.

So it will also mark the end of his erratic and dangerous administration whose backward thoughts have left no room for rational analysis.

So the incoming administration will have to decide whether to keep up the absurd, illegal and failed policy or accept peace and discuss as equals the lengthy bilateral dispute.

The vice secretary of the Cuban Communist Party also voiced his certainty that the problems of this world can only be settled with dialogue.

He added that if the new US authorities quits being arrogant and accepts civilized talk, it is welcome, otherwise, Cuba is ready to deal with its hostile policy for another 50 years if necessary.
